Ever since he first picked up his dad's camcorder when he was 5, Kai Dickson has had an undying passion for telling stories through the visual art of filmmaking. During his teen years, he would constantly gather his friends on their free time to work on short films that they would show to their families. Every morning before school he'd watch video tutorials on filmmaking, and every night he'd read about it before he went to bed. Once he reached his freshman year in high school, the practice of his skills as a director, writer, cinematographer, and even actor led him to create his award winning short film, "The Nocturnal". He continues to make his short films at Cheyenne Mountain high school, as well as being a videographer for weddings, sports, dance, and music videos. He dreams of one day becoming a feature film director.
